Symbols in the Header

Symbols	Name
	App launcher Use this symbol to get to the App launcher. All applications and functions are stored here. In the Information menu you can also call up HGS Data. The interactive knowledge database provides access to technical information, vehicle data and proposed solutions.
	Vehicle selection This symbol appears in the header after having selected a vehicle. Use this symbol to return to the vehicle selection after having selected a vehicle. You can call up additional information in the header about the selected vehicle. You need to select a vehicle for this indication (see section Vehicle selection).
	VCI connected This symbol indicates that the mega macs S 20 is connected to the VCI. You can also use this symbol to perform a VCI test if the connection is established (see section Performing VCI Tests).
	VCI connected This app symbol indicates that the mega macs S 20 is connected to the VCI.
	VCI disconnected This symbol indicates that the connection between the mega macs S 20 and the VCI is disconnected.
	Quick start Use this symbol to get to the quick start menu. Here you can call up the following functions directly: Vehicle selection Trouble code OBD diagnostics Parameter Actuators Basic setting Coding Test function Service reset
	Search for terms Use this symbol to search for components in different types of data records in the search bar (e.g. wiring diagrams, component location or component test values). A vehicle needs to be selected for the search.
	Connections Use this symbol to check if there is a connection to the Network, to the HGS Data server and to the asanetwork.
	Menu Use this symbol for Managing help calls Registering device users Opening and managing the Car History Making settings Setting up the print function Viewing version information

This symbol appears in the header after having selected a vehicle.

Use this symbol to return to the vehicle selection after having selected a vehicle.

This symbol indicates that the mega macs S 20 is connected to the VCI.
