Checking Delivery Contents

Check the delivery contents upon or immediately after delivery so that any damage can be reported immediately.

Proceed as follows to check the delivery contents:

  1. Open the package and check contents for completeness using the enclosed delivery note. If external transport damage is visible, open the delivery package in the presence of the delivery person and check the HG-VCI S 20 for hidden damage. In a damage report, have the delivery person record any damage to the delivery package and damage to the HG-VCI S 20.
  2. Remove the HG-VCI S 20 from the packaging.

    Danger of short circuit due to loose parts in or on the HG-VCI S 20

    Risk of irreparable damage to the HG-VCI S 20 and vehicle electronics

    Never operate the HG-VCI S 20 if you suspect that there are loose parts in or on the device. If this is the case, immediately contact the Hella Gutmann repair service or a Hella Gutmann trading partner.

  4. Check the HG-VCI S 20 for mechanical damage. Shake it gently to check for loose parts inside.
