Country-Specific Search of Vehicle

The country-specific vehicle search determines the vehicle type depending on the country using various search criteria, such as registration number or manufacturer key.

The country-specific vehicle search is only possible in the following countries:

- Germany

- Denmark

- France

- Ireland

- Netherlands

- Norway

- Sweden

- Switzerland

- Austria

Proceed as follows to search for a vehicle by country:

  1. Select >Vehicle selection< in the main menu.
  2. Select >i<.
  3. Activate the check box for passenger cars, for motorcycles, or for trucks.
  4. Push to select Vehicle search.
  5. Select >Country-specific<.
  6. Open the list under Country with .
  7. Select the requested country.
  8. The search criteria are adapted on a country-specific basis.
  9. Open the virtual keypad on the first search criterion with .
  10. Enter the required value.
  11. Confirm your entry with .
  12. Repeat steps 8 to 10 for the second search criterion where necessary.
  13. Start the country-specific search with .
  14. Data download is in progress. The corresponding vehicles are selected from the database.
  15. A drop-down list appears.
  16. Double-click the required vehicle to select.
  17. The Vehicle data menu appears.
  18. Here you can enter either the registration number or the customer name (max. 10 characters).
  19. Open the virtual keypad with .

    If you do not enter a registration number or the customer name, the device does not store any data of the current vehicle in the Car History.

    One registration number or customer name can be used for several vehicles.

  21. Enter the registration number or customer name.
  22. Click 2x to to confirm the input.
  23. The input will be saved automatically.
