Identifying a Vehicle via asanetwork

Hella Gutmann Drivers shall be installed on the office or workshop PC.

The asanetwork connection shall be activated in Hella Gutmann Drivers.

The physical connection of the diagnostic device to the PC can be realized via Wi-Fi, LAN, USB or Bluetooth®.

Proceed as follows to identify a vehicle via asanetwork:

  1. Select main menu > Settings > Miscellaneous.
  2. Select >Miscellaneous<.
  3. Go to Order management and push to open the list and select >on<.
  4. The selection will be saved automatically.
  5. Select >Vehicle selection< in the main menu.
  6. Use to open the window Identify vehicle with asanetwork.
  7. Confirm the requested order.
  8. Possibly confirm a detailed vehicle selection.
  9. The order overview shows the following information: license plate, order number (from DMS) and start of service (e.g. trouble code memory readout, vehicle manufacturer and model).

    If there are active orders the asanetwork symbol in the top toolbar will change from black to green.

  11. After having finished diagnostic work click to the green asanetwork symbol in the top toolbar and finish or abort the order in the open window.
  1. The order will be finished or aborted respectively and will be sent back to the network.
