Creating a Ticket
Proceed as follows to create a ticket for the requested service:
- Connect the VCI plug of macsRemote with the vehicle's diagnostic connector.
CAUTION
Short circuit and voltage peaks when connecting the VCI
Danger of destruction of automotive electronics
Switch off ignition before connecting the VCI to the vehicle.
NOTICE
Switch on the vehicle ignition after having connected the VCI to the vehicle. Communication is impossible without ignition switched on.
- Open https://macsremote.obd.help in the browser.
- Enter your personal registration data.
- Click to >Login< to access the ticket creation field.
- Switch on ignition and confirm the use of the prevailing VCIs with >Select<.
- Enter the VIN (if not transmitted by the vehicle yet) and confirm with >Ok<.
- Select manufacturer, model, type and engine from the list and confirm your entries with >Continue<.
- Select the requested service catalog from the list.
- Select the requested service from the list.
- Confirm the overview of the selected service and the appropriate price with >Continue<.
- Confirm the total overview with >Create< and create the fee-based ticket.
- Wait for the ticket acceptance through a Hella Gutmann service technician.
NOTICE
The corresponding Hella Gutmann service technician will send a countdown if the ticket acceptance takes some time.
Pay attention to notes and make preparations if necessary.
- Once the ticket has created communication can then take place in the chat.
- Now a HGS technician contacts you in the chat and gives you the necessary instructions.
NOTICE
The chat will be archived for logging the work steps.
- Enter your answer in the empty text field and click to >Send< to confirm.
- As soon as the Hella Gutmann service technician has closed the ticket, you can create a new ticket with >New ticket<.
