- Attach one wheel clamp "Distance" on the left and right front wheel respectively.
WARNING
Sharp object
Risk of injury or piercing
Always position the wheel clamp "Distance" on the rim flange or tire using the handle.
CAUTION
Scratching of surfaces
Damage to wheel rims
Always attach the spacer-set to the rim flange or tire.
- Loosen the locking screw (33) and align the contact strip (32) at the height of the wheel center.
- Ensure the horizontal alignment of the wheel clamp "Distance" by using the level gauge (28).
- Align the longitudinal axis of the wheel clamp "Distance" parallel to the wheel.
NOTICE
Pay attention that the level bubbles of both wheel clamp modules are centered.
Only if the wheel clamp "Distance" is attached horizontally and centered to the wheel center you can properly measure the distance between the CSC-Tool Digital (2023) and the vehicle.
- Loosen the locking screw (31) and align the reflexion field (30) at the right angle to the contact strip (32).
- Use the electric height adjustment to align the laser distance meter to the reflexion field of the wheel clamp "Distance" (30).
- Now both wheel clamps "Distance" are correctly attached to the front wheels.
