Verification

 

During the initial startup of the CSC-Tool Digital (2023) a service partner trained and authorized by Hella Gutmann adjusts the correct positioning of the projector to ensure the proper visualization of the digital reference panels.

Four test points are attached during this setup procedure.

The test points must not be removed. Only service partners trained and authorized by Hella Gutmann are allowed to attach them.

A repeated application of the test points always requires a repeated verification and possibly mechanical setting of the projector.

In order to ensure the correct setting of the projector prior to every working step you need to verify if the four test points attached to the projection screen match the reference marks of the projected digital reference panel.

The following illustration shows the test points and reference marks to be verified using the example of a VAG reference panel:

 

Correct alignment: Test points are within the green field (A).

Incorrect alignment: Test points are within the red field (B).

 

Examples:

Correct alignment – Test points are centered within field A of reference mark.

 

Correct alignment – Test points are still in field A of reference mark.

 

Incorrect alignment – Test points are not within field A of reference mark

 

If the test points are outside the reference mark, proceed as follows:

  1. Carefully move the projector to remove potential tensions in the mounts.
  2. Check if the test points match the reference marks at the digital reference panel now.
  1. If the test points again match the reference marks of the digital reference panel you can consider theprojector to be properly positioned and ready for operation again.
  2. If this is not the case the CSC-Tool Digital (2023) shall be adjusted by a service partner trained and authorized by Hella Gutmann.
